‘’Batumis Tskali ‘’ was established as a municipal enterprise in 2006 and serves up to 100 thousand customers throughout the city and the annexed territories. We extract and create a vital product by ecologically clean and sustainable way - high quality water, suitable for the Batumi city, state organizations, industrial and commercial facilities. More than five hundred employees take care of water supply and sewerage services in Batumi.
The main value of "Batumis Tskali" is quality and safe drinking water - which is taken care of by the company's chemical-bacteriological laboratory. The laboratory examines drinking, surface and groundwater. Permanent laboratory testing of drinking water quality is carried out on samples taken from various points of the water headworks, reservoirs and the city network. "Batumis Tskali" laboratory is one of the best in Georgia in terms of technical equipment and it focused on modern standards. The Unified National Body of Accreditation - Accreditation Center, annually carries out planned monitoring works in the laboratory of "Batumis Tskali". The laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment, drinking water quality control is carried out using the latest German and USA methods (HAH and IDEXX), which allows us to determine the quality of drinking water in the shortest possible time. These methods were first introduced in our company in Georgia. Information about the quality of drinking water is completely transparent and is permanently provided to the public through the media.
The activities of the company include:
Operation of headworks, pressure-storage reservoirs and related networks;
Operation of Adlia WW treatment plant;
Permanent control of water intakes and tap water, supply of drinking water in accordance with international standards;
Timely elimination of damage in the water and sewage network;
Customer support and service efficiency;
Batumi water supply and sewerage network services;
Operation of 850 km long water and sewage pipelines, 14 sewers and drainage pumping stations;
"Batumis Tskali" has awarded the prize established by the „International Water Association„ - IWA - for success in operation and management (Brussels 2012). And the prize of the same association Adlia Wastewater Treatment Plant in the nomination of an innovative project (Nairobi 2013).
